This week I sat down with Mike Pelechaty and Dave Edwards from Masthead Brewing Company in Cleveland, Ohio. During the show we discussed the process that went in to opening Masthead. Over the course of a year the ownership team considered over 200 different locations and visited almost 100 buildings before landing on Superior Avenue. Based on our discussions it’s clear that Masthead cares deeply about delivering a complete experience when you visit their taproom. We discussed the difficulties of distribution, brewery expansions, and the impact of inflation.
